GLOBAL BOW DETECTION

Viprotron's Bow Sensor reliably measures the global bow of a single glass lite on horizontal or vertical conveyors. It can be integrated as an optional module for quality inspection scanners or used as a stand-alone solution, ensuring that the total bow is accurately tracked in real time.

MEASUREMENT IN TWO DIRECTIONS

Transport direction:‍

Two ultrasonic sensors along the glass path measure the curvature along up to 10 tracks, providing the maximum bow as the final result.

Perpendicular direction:‍

Another set of 10 tracks measures the bow perpendicular to transport.
The resulting 3D data represent the maximum bow in all directions, independent of glass thickness.
