Bovone’s ELB 102 straight line edging machine guarantees perfect edge flatness due to a unique feature across its entire range. Equipped with a ten-wheel grinding system, the first six wheels focus on the flat edge, with the initial four—metallic and resin diamond wheels—configurable for productivity or polishing quality. This precision-driven setup ensures excellent results.
HIGH-PRECISION AND EFFICIENCY
In addition to achieving perfect flatness during the grinding phase, the ELB 102 excels in the polishing process. The last two wheels, made of cerium-impregnated felt, perform flawless polishing of the flat edge. This results in glass edges of exceptionally high quality, meeting the stringent aesthetic demands of architecture and design industries. For applications requiring large batches and optimized production times, the ELB 102 operates at speeds exceeding 2.5 meters per minute. Additionally, the ability to integrate the machine into automated robotic systems further enhances productivity, offering significant advantages in time-to-market.
