INSPECTION OF SINGLE GLASSES

The Quality Checker SG performs full quality control of single glass sheets according to international standards like EN, ASTM, or JIS. It ensures each sheet meets the required quality before shipping or further processing. After cutting or breaking, the scanner checks rectangularity, detecting broken corners, undercuts, or noses on the edges.

PRECISION CONTOUR & LIGHT PROJECTION CONTROL

Used on final test tracks (e.g., doors), the Quality Checker SG combines advanced contour verification with perpendicular light projection to ensure exceptional accuracy. It compares glass contours and processed features (such as holes and cutouts) against a DXF file, controlling type, position, and dimensions with a tolerance of less than ±1 mm/m.

By utilizing parallel light projection and a two-dimensional projector screen, the system achieves a true 0° perpendicular view, eliminating camera angle errors and enabling precise inspection of both interior and exterior contours. Non-defective elements, such as labels, are automatically excluded to prevent false alarms.

Tolerances scale with glass length, ensuring consistent, synchronized transport and reliable high-precision quality control throughout the process.
