MULTIPLE LAYERS OF AUTOMATION
Modern laminated glass production demands speed, precision, and flexibility. Advanced cutting systems now integrate multiple layers of automation to streamline the entire process—from sheet positioning to final separation. By combining intelligent transport systems, automated cutting operations, and smart buffering solutions, these machines enable manufacturers to process laminated glass quickly and consistently, regardless of job complexity or operator experience.
This versatile cutting system is designed to automatically perform all key operations involved in laminated glass processing, including scoring, breaking, separation, PVB heating, and cutting. The integrated automation ensures a seamless workflow that reduces manual intervention while maintaining high production efficiency. With its built-in transport system, buffer zone, and strip rotation capabilities, the machine delivers fast and reliable processing even when handling complex cutting patterns.

Handling sheet remnants during cutting can slow down production, particularly when large sheets require multiple cutting stages. The machine introduces an intelligent vertical buffering system that temporarily lifts remnants away from the cutting line, allowing immediate Y cuts on the strips. Once the operation is completed, the buffer lowers the remnants back into position for the next cuts. This smart approach eliminates time-consuming repositioning, reduces machine footprint, and significantly improves productivity.
To maintain consistent cut quality, the machine incorporates advanced pressure management for the cutting heads. Because gravity affects the upper and lower cutting heads differently, dual independent proportional valves precisely regulate the pressure applied by each head. This technology ensures balanced scoring forces and consistently high-quality cutting results across all production cycles.

An integrated transport belt system automatically positions glass sheets for cutting and manages remnants during subsequent operations, enabling a smooth and efficient workflow. Interpolated suction cups allow automatic strip rotation for orthogonal cuts, while advanced cutting head control supports complex shapes such as parallelograms and trapezoids. The system also enables narrow trim cuts—down to 20 mm—optimizing sheet layout, increasing yield, and minimizing material waste while reducing reliance on manual operations.
