Intermac Edge Pro Q 408 is engineered as a true batch-one machine, capable of processing glass sheets of different sizes and thicknesses consecutively without manual adjustments. All repositioning of heads and vacuum cup systems is performed automatically in hidden time, synchronized with loading and unloading operations to ensure uninterrupted workflow. Its intelligent design allows processing of straight or shaped glass with 3 to 8 sides, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.


Despite processing all four sides simultaneously, the machine features a compact footprint, significantly smaller than traditional double-sided edging lines, making it easy to integrate into flexible production layouts. It handles glass sizes up to 2500 x 4300 mm and thicknesses up to 19 mm, while its vacuum holding system enables safe processing of low-E glass without damaging the coating. The system also allows different finishes to be applied automatically on each side of the same glass.
Equipped with independent heads featuring 8 wheels each, the machine delivers excellent polishing quality with high consistency. A combination of fixed roller supports and an upper presser minimizes vibrations, ensuring stable processing even for thin glass. Advanced mechanical reference systems and automated measurement levers guarantee repeatable precision, while the intuitive Human Machine Interface and integrated CAD-CAM software enable easy programming, complex geometries, and full control of machine performance.
